Gary K. Scheffel, O.D.

Dr. Gary has been in practice for over 20 years in the Sacramento area. He graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry and moved North with his family to start in private practice. Early in his career, Dr. Gary had an interest in preventive eye care and explored ways to help his patients improve their eyesight through both conventional means and alternative therapies which included, vision therapy, nutrition, psychology, and biofeedback. Gaining experience in these other areas has afforded him great insight in how to communicate with his patients and to treat their vision problems. Dr. Gary has lectured extensively to schools, service clubs, professionally, and has appeared on radio, and TV. talking about vision care. He was awarded the "Outstanding Speaker" and the "Young Optometrist of the Year", by the California Optometric Association. And he also received the "Outstanding Young Men of America" award by the United States Jaycees, and is listed in Who's Who in America. Jeanie - Office Manager

Jeanie has been in the optical business for 25 years! She went to Cal State Fullerton and earned her degree, and then started a family and later attended Canada college to become an optician. She has used her extensive knowledge in optics to manage several optometric practices. She brings with her a world of knowledge in frame styling to find the frame that brings the best out in your looks and at the same time provide good comfort and durablity. Just ask Jeanie for any questions about progressive bifocals or why your frame just does not fit you and she'll gladly help you.
